The first official custom BMW S 1000 RR, revealed today in France. It’s designed to capture the spirit of the classic 1980s endurance racers, with paint inspired by the first BMW art car—Alexander Calder’s 1975 3.0 CSL Le Mans racer.
It’s incredible work from the high end Paris custom house @_praem_, under commission from @bmwmotorrad_france.

The best way to turn up on spring break

Wild pesto pasta featuring bishop's elder, lamb's quarters, garlic mustard, and sautéed field garlic bulbs. The base was toasted pistachios, pine nuts, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, and olive oil tossed with noodles. Studded within are blanched fiddle head ferns from the market. On top, wild pheasant's back mushroom bacon, wild violets (yes, they were still some in bloom!), red bud (from a previous forage), chickweed, and garlic mustard flowers. To finish, a sprinkling of the toasted pistachios. This one is dedicated to the one and only @jamieoliver, who was kind enough to repost one of my photographs from yesterday. His passion and love of food inspired me when I watched him as a teenager, and still does today. Thank you Jamie! Lastly, the whole process of collecting these ingredients and the making of the dish was part of my takeover of the @thefeedfeed's snapchat, so make sure to go watch the whole story! Harvesting the mushrooms, clipping the greens, and cooking in my kitchen. It was honestly too much fun, so go see for yourself. And thanks for having me @thefeedfeed. :)

Awakening the other day after a windy, rainy night, amongst the rocky mountains of Bozzhira as an epically gorgeous thunderstorm ebbs, ever changing above its towering desert peaks over the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan.

I’m cleaning out my fridge tomorrow. Or should I say fridge(s). And I had some leftovers from my sandwich today, like the watermelon radish, sweet potato chunks, and quick-pickled red onions (that are now hot pink after a few hours: @tastyasheck ;) I whipped up some quinoa and rice to hold everything together. The bright yellow broccoli rabe flowers are local and obviously stealing the show. Green meat radish, succulent purslane, and red veined sorrel are joining in on the fun too. Not photographed is the miso-tahini dressing I will be drizzling over everything before devouring.
