Warm Chocolate Buckwheat (Kasha) by @kale.of.a.life 💜 1 cup toasted buckwheat groats (rinsed and drained) 1.5 cups water 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 tablespoon carob powder 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder 3-4 pitted dates, finely minced 1-2 teaspoons agave or maple syrup 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips (optional) 1. Place rinsed buckwheat in a pot and fill with water. Bring to a boil over medium-heat. Reduce heat and cook for 5-10 minutes or until most of the water has evaporated. Stir often. 2. Add in vanilla, carob powder, raw cacao powder, chocolate chips and dates. Cook on low heat until no water remains in the pot. Fluff with a fork and add the agave or maple syrup (according to the sweetness that you desire). 3. Eat warm, with or without dairy-free milk (vanilla works est!). Serve with fresh fruit and enjoy! #bestofvegan
